Appearance and identification

Unlike similarly reticulated sodalis, reticulata carries a prominent dark dorsal blotch. Flank pattern alone can be misleading.

Floor and movement space

Source base recommendation: 60 × 38 cm; assess group and layout separately.

Aquarium environment

Leave smooth clean foraging substrate and open space.

Diet and feeding

Provide suitably sized sinking food; leftovers are insufficient.

Compatibility limits

Overlapping temperatures do not prove compatibility; avoid predatory or aggressive feeding companions.
