Diet and feeding

Provide mature surfaces bearing aufwuchs and supplement with small live or frozen foods; algae alone are insufficient. Reduce feeding competition for thin individuals.

Same-species behaviour

Keep at least six. Individuals may gather facing the current; mature water, abundant oxygen and a tightly fitted lid are important.
