The reported maximum is 15 cm SL, not typical adult TL. The source recommends a 120 × 45 cm base, a long open lane and a tight lid.
Appearance and identification
Unlike clown rasboras, it lacks two large flank blotches; its bold markings are on the tail lobes. Neither should be selected for a tiny tank based on juvenile size.
Same-species behaviour
The source recommends at least six conspecifics; social grouping does not imply continuous tight schooling.
Space requirements
Seriously Fish suggests a 120 × 45 cm base; capacity for a specific adult group is unverified.
Diet and feeding
Offer prepared and live or frozen foods; monitor competition from active feeding.
Compatibility limits
A browsing link or peaceful description does not guarantee compatibility; assess predation, feeding competition, space and water separately.
Aquarium environment
Plant along the margins while retaining open water and an unobstructed swimming lane.
